We created Word Of Mouth Truck out of a love for food, animals, and the environment. As a 100% plant based food truck that serves comfort food we are bringing veganism to the streets of LA. Our hope is to inspire progressive change by showing plant based food is delicious! Word Of Mouth Truck was created by Staci Stewart and Chris Chavez in 2017 after noticing a hole in the market for vegans at public events in Los Angeles. Together we hope to educate and inspire by providing a variety of delicious nostalgic vegan meals.

We recently did a segment for LUNCH BREAK LIVE with Jane Velez Mitchell. She filmed us out serving at UCLA a few weeks back. Check out a day in the life of WOMT below. (video and picture credit: Jane Velez Mitchell/Lunch Break Live)
September kept us busy! We conquered our first (and second) two day vegan festival!
We debuted at the CA VEGETARIAN FOOD FESTIVAL(at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood). This time around we choose to serve a few of our best sellers. On the menu for the two day festival was our Mac and Cheese Bites, and Staci's favorite the Fried Chick'n Sandwich. (picture credit: CA Vegetarian Festival)
Tim Moore(aka Vegan Fat Kid) curates the vendors for VEGAN STREET FAIR NIGHTS each year, so we felt honored to be asked to join. Thanks to everyone who braved the triple digit heat and raining ash with us! We again had a special menu featuring an Inside Out Grilled Cheese(using Follow Your Heart), Chili Cheese Fries, customer favorite Mac and Cheese Bites and throwback to the 90s Dunkaroos. In May 2017 we made our EAT DRINK VEGAN debut. (click on the picture for more details) We served up a special menu that consisted of Jalapeño Grits, a House Philly Cheesesteak(made with house made seitan and a white beer cheese sauce using House Lager), and our Love Animals heart shaped ice cream sandwich. In March 2017 we were honored that PETA asked us to serve during two PETAflix & chill screenings. (click the capture below for more details.) A portion of our sales were donated to PETA. (picture credit: PETA)
We were so happy to be at the Vegan Street Fair this year! We debuted two special menu items for the event our BLT: eggplant bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo; as well as our SRIRACHA CHICK'N SALAD SANDWICH: beyond meat shredded chick'n, sriracha sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion. Additionally we served some of our favorite menu items. A huge thank you to everyone who came out in support. (video credit: Jessica/Vegan Street Fair)
